Google TV Streamer can't pair Jabra Evolve2 65 Flex via Bluetooth

Hi,

both devices are great on their own, but I simply can't get them working together since older Chromecast with Google TV 4K, and now with the new Google TV Streamer 4K. Just to mention: the streamer works smoothly with literally _any_ other headphones I own (Sony, Pixel Buds, iClever, etc.) except my Jabra headset. In turn, the Jabra pairs with _every_ device I tried (PC, mac, Chromebook, Pixel, iPhone, iPad, etc.) but not with the streamer.

It goes as follows:

  • I turn the headset on and switch to pairing mode.
  • The streamer immediately detects it and asks "There's a new device detected Jabra Evolve2 65 Flex, connect?"
  • I select "Connect", there's a pairing chime in the headset, and then the streamer says "Jabra disconnected".
  • In a couple of seconds, there's another connection attempt, which fails again with "Jabra disconnected".
  • and so the infinite loop of connection attempts and failures goes on, the streamer becomes laggy and jerky, until I shut down the headset.

There's obviously some weird incompatibilty problem, but I can't figure out who's at fault of those two.

Can anyone confirm the issue and advise?

Thanks and best regards.

Hi Frosted2111,

Thank you for posting in the community. I'm sorry to hear that you are unable to pair your Jabra headphones by Bluethooth. As you mentioned before, you can pair other devices such as Sony, Pixel Buds and iClever so this means that you need to contact Jabra support for further assistance because the Bluetooth works fine for other devices.

In the meantime, if you have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to reply to this post. I'll be happy to assist you further!

Best regards,

Rusell.
