Hello,
I'm having issues with the Google tv device that nomatter which app I am streaming the audio cuts of for a second or two every 60 seconds or so.
Tried with YouTube, amazon prime, HBO, netflix.. all of them presents the same issue.
This older post seems to have the same issue. Triedhttps://www.googlenestcommunity.com/t5/Chromecast/Chromecast-audio-dropping-out-every-5-10-minutes/m-p/30194... .
Tried to solve with the indicated solutions that is posted there and it does not work.
I must say that the sound was working normally and the issue started out of the blue a few days ago. And it feels like it is getting worse. Before the cuts were more spaced out, now it goes all the time.
My setup is Google tv connected to a LG led TV(2020) and audio output to harman kardon soundbar connected by optical cable.
Hope you have a workaround.

Hi tutudias,
Thanks for posting here in the Google Nest Community. I suggest we isolate the issue by disconnecting your Harman Kardon soundbar and letting the sound come out of the TV’s speakers. If it stops, then we know that there’s a communication failure between the TV and the soundbar. If it persists, we then test it on another TV (no soundbar attached) to isolate if it has something to do with the HDMI connector of the Chromecast device. You must have tried switching to different HDMI ports and other troubleshooting steps based on the thread you shared. Let us know how it goes.
Thanks,
Kimy
