Google tv is stuck on some loading

Google tv is stuck on some loading screen after randomly coming on. It's a rectangle with Google colours rotating around it. Left it for 30min, have tried unplugging and plugging back in but just comes straight to that screen again. Have tried hard resting with the button but does not start blinking/change. Any help would be appreciated

  • Is the streaming device plugged directly into the TV's HDMI port?
  • Do you have an AVR connected to your TV?
  • Has the streaming device ever worked with this TV?
  • Is the G logo an intermittent issue?
  • When does the issue often appear?
  • How far from the router is the Chromecast with Google TV (HD)?
  • Have there been any recent changes to your environment, such as a change in Wi-Fi network or recent outages? 
  • Did you receive any error messages in the Google Home app after performing a factory data reset and trying to set up your Chromecast with Google TV (HD)?
  • What is the make and model of the mobile device you're using for setup?
