Since the last update when I try to reach the surround options the settings menus automatically moves back to the main app screen. This prevents me from making any changes to the settings of the audio devices.

Hi lsoares,
Thanks for reaching out to the community. I’m sorry to hear that your Google TV Streamer 4K settings menu is crashing and kicking you back to the home screen. I can see how difficult it can be, especially when you’re just trying to calibrate your audio.
Since this started happening right after a firmware update, the recommendation would be a basic restart, and if that doesn't work, the most effective way to resolve this is a Factory Data Reset. This will clear the corrupted system state and give the new update a "clean slate" to work with.
Please follow these steps to perform a factory reset:
With the Google TV Streamer Voice Remote
At the top right of your TV screen, select your profile > All settings.
Select System > About > Factory Reset.
From the Google TV Streamer device
While the device is plugged into the TV and powered on, press and hold the button for 10-12 seconds on the back of the device. The LED should start to blink yellow.
When the LED light turns solid white, release the button, and the device should then reset.
Please give this a try and let me know if you are able to access the surround sound options once the setup is complete.
Best regards,
Jenny
