Hi Outlaw67,
Thanks for posting here in the Google Nest Community. Kindly go to Settings > Display and Sound > Advanced display settings > Format selection > Show formats > HDR10+ (the options detected are based on the TV). I hope this helps. Let us know if you still have questions.
Thanks,
Kimy

Hi there,
Thanks for the reply. Kindly check the actual TV’s settings. Usually, both the TV and the Chromecast device should have it set to automatic. Then, any format of the content will just display as it should. You can refresh the communication between the involved devices by performing a sequential reboot. You can also try a factory reset if you want a full clean-up. Let us know how it goes.

Kimy

HDR10+ works with Primevideo. Will not work in youtube unless I play a HDR10+ movie in primevideo say for 10 secs then go to youtube then HDR10+ will play.

Hi Outlaw67,
Thanks for the reply. Based on your description, the HDR10+ seems to be working, or else it won’t work even on Prime Video. This seems to be app-related. Have you tried to clear the cache or reinstall the app? You can also do a factory reset for a full clean-up. Let us know how it goes.
Thanks,
Kimy

Hello Outlaw67,
Thanks for keeping us in the loop. After you worked on the app, try to refresh the communication again between devices, only this time let’s bypass the receiver. Have the Chromecast device connected directly to the TV. Let me know how it goes.
Cheers,
Kimy
