HELP! All recommendations have disappeared on Chromecast w/Google TV

For about 3 WEEKS my 4k Chromecast w/GTV is no longer showing recommended content... I've restarted the chromecast with google tv multiple times, toggled all the settings repeatedly (and yes I've double checked to make sure I'm not in Apps Only Mode) and the only thing my "for you" tab shows is Continue Watching, Top Selling Movies, Watchlist, Free Live TV,  and YouTube Recommendations. The only other category is Cultural Representation In Movies and Must See for Native American Heritage month... All the other content it used to show just disappeared about 3 weeks ago. The "Movies" section is now just my Watchlist and stuff available for rent/purchase. The "Shows" section now only shows my Watchlist. This seems to be a problem because I keep finding other people in forums that are having the same issue, so I'm guessing something was broken with the last system update they released. The only thing I haven't tried is a factory reset, but everyone else that has tried it said it did nothing to resolve the issue. I'm having the same issue on the Google TV android app

I'm getting the same problem, I have 3 Chromecast with Google TV devices all have the same problem. For you Tab only shows continue watching, then both movies and TV shows tabs only show 3 big boxes at the top showing 3 different movies and TV ads don't show anything else. I'm even having the same problem with For You Tab on my phone I can't seem to sort it I've deleted Google TV data on all devices

Yes. It's account related. My back up works and looks exactly as it should. So why did recommendations on my primary account suddenly disappear when I've made no changes to anything

That does seem weird created a temp Google account and everything is fine but on my actual Google account it don't show anything. Unless there's a setting that's either turned on or off at some point that's what stopping it is there away a setting Google to default settings without deleting anything.

Thanks for the reply. This means your Chromecast device is working as intended, and the issue is related to the account used. As for the account, it really is hard to determine if this has something to do with the actual account settings or the third-party apps it is linked to. I have a separate account (out of multiple accounts for personal, browsing, viewing, gaming, business, dating, etc.) that had similar issues, and one thing I remember is that I keep declining the tracking permissions for whatever app that account is linked to. But I’m still not sure if that’s how it works. For things related to accounts, I suggest you ask our friends at the Google Account Help Community. There might be users who have answers for this. Let us know if you have other concerns related to your Chromecast device.
