Hi. I have a problem with duplicate device names when casting

Cześć. Mam problem ze zduplikowanymi nazwami urządzeń podczas działania. Zmieniłem urządzenie i ponownie sparowałem i nic nie pomogło. Mój telefon do Motorola G72, Android 12.

Hallo,

does this only happen with your  Motorola G72 or also with other devices like your Google/Edge browser on a PC/laptop? 

 

On Moto g72 and Redmi Note 10 there are double names but on Chrome on Windows 11 it's ok.
I think that's what happened when I bought a new Motorola phone, before that it was ok on Redmi Note 10.

was the Redmi Note 10 updated to Androd 12 the same time? Maybe an Android 12 bug for both phones as it works for Chrome browser. I already have Android 13 on my Pixel6a and here I only see my Chromecast wGTV once as expected.

I understand and am sorry for the delay. Check out this link and see if your unwanted apps and devices are still linked. If so, you can remove it from there.

I removed all devices and it didn't help, the problem is still there 😞
