I've setup a Chromecast HD and now need to move it over to a different TV model. Is there a way to reconfigure the TV settings of the Chromecast?
Unfortunately, I'll be unable to factory reset the device and do a re-configuration: I'll hand-over the configured device to my elderly parents and will walk them through the installation on the phone. Setting up all the apps and logins again in this way will be impossible.

Hi briconaut,
Thanks for posting here in the Google Nest Community. If this is a Chromecast with Google TV, then you can just connect it directly to the intended TV. The factor that needs to be considered here is the Wi-Fi network. If it’s in the same household (same Wi-Fi), then there's no need to change anything. If it’s in a different house, you may need to configure it using the Chromecast Voice remote. Just go to Settings > Network and Internet > Wi-Fi, then connect it to the right network.
If this is an older version of Chromecast, then you may need to do a factory reset to set it up from scratch using the Google Home App.
I hope this helps. Let us know if you still have questions.
Thanks,
Kimy
