Input button not working on new 2024 Google Streamer

I just set up my new Google TV Streamer and everything is working except the input change shortcut. It says it can’t switch the source device even though it can control sound and power. I have an Amazon Fire TV, and can’t figure out how to switch inputs without use of this button

Unfortunately, not all the Streamer's remote buttons work with all TVs.

You will have to use the remote that came with your TV to do that.

Is there any expectation of google working to connect with more TV inputs?
