I own a Samsung TV 2018 model UA65MU7000. I’ve hooked up my Chromecast with Google TV (4k) to the Samsung TV. When i change the display resolution from 1080 (60hz) to 4k (60 hz) via the chromecast the screen will continuously change to a black screen for 2-3 seconds whilst i’m trying to watch tv. It’s like the tv can’t handle the refresh rate of a 4k 60hz feed. It doesn’t make sense though because i’m not having the same issue with my 2016 Samsung TV which i have changed to the 4k 60 hz resolution. Any thoughts?

Thanks Brandon. none of those steps fixed the issue unfortunately. It’s definitely an issue with the television though because I swapped over the chromecast from my 2016 Samsung TV and both chromecasts work fine with 4k 60hz on the 2016 model but both won’t work correctly when trying to display 4k 60 hz on my 2018 model Samsung tv. If i set the resolution to 1080p 60hz it works without any issues
