I can see my headphones in the bluetooth menu but when I try to pair I get can't pair each time.
did factory reset already and the turn on off but still without result. I saw some similar problems here but no real solutions.

Hi DavyDL,
Thanks for posting here in the Google Nest Community. We’re sorry for the trouble, and this is not the experience that we wanted you to have. Not all Bluetooth speakers may connect, especially the ones that use Bluetooth 5.0 or higher. It’s all about compatibility. Chromecast with Google TV uses Bluetooth 4.2, which has its limitations. Check out these Chromecast specifications for more information.
I hope this sheds some light on the situation. Let us know if you still have questions.
Thanks,
Kimy

Is there no workaround for this whatsoever?
Edit: This is factually not true; Bluetooth is always backwards-compatible; The headphones should be able to properly connect with Chromecast TV. This might be rather a bug/issue on the Chromecast side.
Thanks,
David

Hi Doffo,
Thanks for the reply. We’re talking about hardware differences. Something that even a software update can’t improve. Features such as spatial audio and some advanced features are applicable to new generations of earbuds and headsets, which is not an intended feature of a cast device (since it’s intended for TVs). A workaround that other users do is introduce another compatible device, such as receivers with Bluetooth functions. They connect the Chromecast device to the receiver and let the receiver handle the communication with the earbuds and/or headsets. I hope this helps. Let us know if you have other concerns.
Regards,
Kimy
