Every time I go to use the chromecast HDR 10+ is not listed under formats.Have to restart to get HDR10+ back under supported formats ???

Thanks for posting and for being a step ahead of us. If the option vanishes and requires a reboot to restore, this could be a communication failure via HDMI connection. Try switching to a different HDMI port, or if possible, test it on another capable TV. Rebooting the TV also helps. If it persists after trying all of these, do a full clean-up by performing a factory reset on the Chromecast device.
