The MAX app for HBO MAX streaming has an app setting "Autoplay next episode". This feature displays a screen prompt (on the screen bottom right) to play the next episode in the currently watched MAX series once the end credits begin displaying.
But if I am casting the episode from my Android phone to the Chromecast dongle, the prompt does not appear and I have to manually find and start the next episode.
Many MAX users have the same complaints but I think that I am the first to discover the screen casting connection.
Could the prompt be displaying off screen? I have tried changing the TV's display width but the display always completely covers both ends of the screen. The MAX app has no screen width adjustment. Neither does the Google Home app.
Any suggestions?

I reached out to help desk. They said a number of people are reporting this issue and they are in the process of working on it. Hopefully they will fix it soon. It seemed like he was saying it would be fixed pretty soon bc he told me "try streaming again at a later time and see if you're still having the issue" he also said they are currently working on it.
So I'm guessing there's a decent amount of people complaining

Hi folks,
Thanks for posting here in the Google Nest Community. This must be isolated to the HBO Max app, as these features are all in its own apps. Netflix, Disney+, etc., with their own functions, seem to work. If this is via casting, specific apps should apply those changes on their own. I suggest you reach out to HBO about this.
Let us know if you get any updates from them.
Thanks,
Kimy
