Since this thread hasn't had activity in a while, we're going to close it to keep content fresh. If you're still having trouble with your Chromecast and Voice remote, please give these steps a try:
- Test the Voice Remote with new or good batteries. Replace the batteries with new ones (1.5 volt AAA batteries). {Note: Change both of the batteries. Do not change only one of them}.
- Reinstall the batteries after 5 minutes.
- Unpair and reset the Voice Remote, then pair it back.
- Factory reset the Chromecast device and factory reset the Voice Remote again.
