My chromecast keeps toggling the Wi-Fi off

I’m having an issue with my chromecast Wi-Fi keeps toggling off and they never resolved it and it’s really getting frustrating and I was wondering if someone can have the best solution to fix this problem or when it will be resolved cause every time I use my chromecast and it shows the slideshow on my chromecast and after the Wi-Fi keeps toggling off and never comes back on after that and stays off

  • Are you using the latest version of the Google Home app or Google Assistant app? If not, you can check this Google Help Center article to learn more: How to update the Google Home app.
  • Is your smartphone’s operating system updated?
  • Did you make any changes to your Wi-Fi network recently (such as a password change, new router, etc.)?
  • Could you please verify if your phone and Chromecast are connected to the same Wi-Fi network, ensuring both are on the same band (2.4 GHz or 5 GHz)?
  • Are other devices, like your laptop or smart speakers, able to connect to the Wi-Fi network without issues?

yes my device is operational and I’m using chromecast with google tv 4k model gnrzl yes I’m using the latest software for google home app I recently just got a new router  yes both my phone and chromecast are using 2.4 ghz and 5 ghz yes other devices can connect to it and I tried everything troubleshooting issues and nothing worked

Is there any way to fix this issue with my chromecast or is it going to resolved on its own

Resetting chromecast and router and forgetting network and reconnecting to network after forgetting network

Thanks for replying back to me and for the effort you put into those steps. Now we can explore some additional options:

  1. To confirm, did you follow all the reset steps outlined in this article? How to factory reset your Chromecast or Google TV Streamer: This is to clear all data and start from scratch.
    • After performing this step, did you delete the device from the Google Home app and then Set up your Chromecast again?

  2. If the issue persists after this step, and you have another mobile device available,
    I suggest connecting the Chromecast to a mobile hotspot as follows:
    • On the second device, turn on mobile data and hotspot.
    • On the first device, turn on the Wifi, then connect to the hotspot of the second mobile device.
    • From the first device, open the Google Home app.
    • Choose the streaming device you want to set up.
    • Follow the prompts until you reach the Wi-Fi setup screen.
    • Select the mobile hotspot as the Wi-Fi network.
    • Enter the password for the hotspot network.
    • Click the Set Network button.

Additionally, please place the Chromecast within 20 feet of the router and the phone during the setup process.
