Hi
After a hard reset it became impossible to get started again with the streamer. Every time the chromecast is connected via google home app, the app gives me a notification that the google tv streamer cannot be verified, go to google support. This while it gives the message on the tv "connected". I tried another reset, a reset of my network, reinstalling the app, deleting a house.
This is very frustrating as tried 4 evenings with no result. I hope you can help!
Kind regards
Sander

Hi Beula
Can you please help me out a bit more?
I just bought a new TV streamer but I have the same verification issue. I actually lost al my patience and confidence in Google Streamer....
The Home app automatically indicates the streamer in my wifi network. But the a few steps further the app gets stuck in a loop.
2cnd try is via QR code. When scanned the 2 device clearly connect as I can see mouvement on the screen but after a few seconds the window: "device cannot be verfied" pops up again.
And again, and again, and aigain...
Yes Smarthone is up to date: S25 with newest android OS. I use an android device, as I used before when it worked out immediately!
I tried the steps you discribed before already and did them again now, no luck.
This is so frustrating!!!
What is wrong?
Please advice.
Thanks
Sander

Hi @Smits,
Thank you for the update. I see you've purchased a new Google TV Streamer, and I know how frustrating it is, especially as you're experiencing the same error as the previous device. Since the problem is persisting across both devices, let’s explore some additional steps to get this resolved:
Restart the Device:
Perform a Factory Reset:
After the device restarts, please try the setup process again.
Keep me posted.
