Nest doorbell 2nd generation won't display automatically on Google 4k TV or with"hey Google" voice command....
I have the nest doorbell 2nd generation doorbell. And I have a Hisense Smart TV 4K FFM with built in Google Chromecast. I want my doorbell feed to display on TV automatically when someone rings it or it detects motion. When I use the Google assistant on my TV asking the command - "Hey google show me doorbell camera" it returns camera icon with strike through like it's offline? But I can grab my TV remote, access menu, Google home panel & select the doorbell where the camera feed displays so it's obviously online. I also do not receive any notification of a new visitor or anything on my Google home panel in the TV......
Here's what I've done so far after researching the issue: Settings in Google Home panel on TV show it should receive notifications from doorbell video. Settings within my Google home app for the doorbell enabled visitor announcement. On Google assistant personal results are enabled along with show proactively on TV device.
I refuse to believe this is just yet another glitch within my Google Home Ecosystem....

when I first got my Hisense TV it did work. But then it stopped working. That was a while ago now I'm not too sure because I use the TV streamer on that tv. It seems to me that it is another glitch but I can't say for sure.

Nest doorbell 2nd generation feed won't display automatically on Google 4k TV nor display with "Hey Google" command.
I have the nest doorbell 2nd generation doorbell. And I have a Hisense Smart TV 4K FFM with built in Google capability. I want my doorbell feed to display on TV automatically when it either detects motion or someone rings it. When I use the Google assistant on my TV asking this command - "Hey google show me doorbell camera" it returns camera icon with strike through like it's offline? But I can grab my TV remote, access menu, Google home panel & select the doorbell where the camera feed displays so it's obviously online.

I'm hoping this is something you can fix. I refuse to believe this is just not yet another glitch within my Google Home Ecosystem.

Hi @mmhooper03 ,
Thank you for posting in the community. I'm sorry you're having trouble projecting your second-generation Nest Doorbell to your Hisense with Google TV 4K using voice commands, and it's not showing you notifications either. I'm here to help.
Before I begin, I need to ask a few questions for further assistance:
Around when did you first notice this issue?
Have you tried issuing other voice commands to control other smart home devices through your TV's Google Assistant? Do those commands work correctly?
When you manually access the doorbell feed through the Google Home panel on the TV, does it connect quickly and reliably, or is there any noticeable delay?
Have you configured any specific routines in the Google Home app that are intended to display the doorbell feed on your TV when the doorbell is rung or motion is detected?
Have you checked that the visitor announcement option is turned on? If you are not sure, I'll leave you the instructions on how you can do it.
Open the Google Home app .
Tap and hold the tile of your doorbell.
In the top right corner, tap Settings > Doorbell.
Ensure visitor announcements are turned on.
Please keep me posted. I'll look forward to your response.
Best regards,
Kevin
