I have several of these at home and love them. Bought one today to put in my office at work. I get a g.com/cast/power error. I have the Chromecast plugged into a power strip using the adapter and cord that came with it.
I've unplugged and replugged everything multiple times. Same error. Frustrating to say the least.
Reset button on the Chromecast doesn't seem to don anything either. Bad unit?

Update. Bad power adapter. Tried a cheap one I found in a drawer. All good now.
