I recently upgraded from a Chromecast with Google TV 4K and when i attempt to play Dolby True HD 7.1 content from my plex app the media will stay frozen and will not play. Additionally when i try to play DTS Master HD 7.1 content it will play but the A/V will become out of sync after a few minutes.
It is not a problem with the plex software because this content plays perfectly fine on my Sony Android TV and on my Chromecast with Google TV 4K. The only device i have this issue with is the new Google TV Streamer. Please fix your audio processing on the device, those of us who upgraded are starting to regret the decision, i went from a functional device to a non-functional device and at this point i have no idea why i should not return it and get my money back.
Ps. don't come at me with advice on how to set up the device to output different media formats, i've already verified the support with my audio equipment and all of the formats are listed as supported in the Audio settings of the Streamer. This is a back end processing issue and one that requires google to address.
