Red screen pink

Hello. I have just started installing mine all looked good and suddenly the screen became red. 

i tried unplugging and all of that and did not work.

Thanks for posting. I'm sorry to hear about the inconvenience that you are experiencing with the Google Chromecast device. But don't worry, I can help. Please try this steps that might work to solve the situation.

 

  • Try unplugging, then re-plugging the Chromecast into the same HDMI port, making sure the connector is plugged all the way in.
  • Try using the Chromecast with another TV/HDMI display, if possible.
  • If the issue is reproduced on all HDMI ports, it’s likely that your TV make and model is not compatible with Chromecast. Please contact your TV manufacturer, they may be able to help fix the issue.
