03-11-2025 10:43 AM
Its been 2 days now. Its way too long for a Gafa to fix a certificate issue. Please be honnest and share the real reason why it doesnt work !
03-11-2025 10:54 AM
It is really an expiration date on an intermediate certificate CA.
They have to ignore expiration dates or change 100million of certificates. Anyway will take more than a week
03-11-2025 10:44 AM
Is it working again? Please advice on steps to take. I've factory reset my device.
03-11-2025 10:45 AM
Are you going to notify me by email? Push through my phone? How?
03-11-2025 10:45 AM

03-11-2025 10:45 AM
I can't detect my chrome cast . Model NC2 6A5 but last update immediately not connected
03-11-2025 10:48 AM
I had already done the factory reset ..Google home told me to do so...to "fix" the connection.
03-11-2025 10:49 AM
What if you have already reset one manually? Can you let us know when updates happen? We have three chromecasts none of which are working.
03-11-2025 10:57 AM
fix will need several days, just wait
03-11-2025 10:50 AM
Mines not worked since 9th March. Is it going to be fixed anytime soon? Not impressed as this is the only way we watch TV.
03-11-2025 10:57 AM
several days
03-11-2025 10:49 AM
This experience is giving me flashbacks of when a Google system update bricked my Nexus phone and Google refused to replace it because they'd already replaced it a year earlier because of a recall over faulty hardware.
03-11-2025 10:50 AM
Thank you for clarification, actually I rest my devise and it doesn’t reconnect to my local Wi-Fi can you fix this problem ? And what should I do ?
03-11-2025 10:56 AM
wait google fix their issue, it will take several days
03-11-2025 10:52 AM
Any update?
03-11-2025 10:52 AM
any news? alguna novedad?
03-11-2025 10:53 AM
And what if we already factory reset our device?
03-11-2025 10:53 AM
2 days ago I made the factory reset on my Chromecast 2nd gen. Following instructions on the help center. And 24 hours later you write to not do it. Is my device will be fixed as well?
03-11-2025 10:55 AM
Is there any news yet? I managed to get it reconnected last night after resetting it thenight before.
03-11-2025 10:55 AM
It is now clear what the problem is. Literally thousands of older chromecast no longer work. Google claims to be working on a solution. I am curious. For me it is an additional motivation to say goodbye to google products.
03-11-2025 10:55 AM
Thank you. When will this be possible?
03-11-2025 10:56 AM
I have always been a staunch believer in Google. This bug seems very simple to me, but it's been 2 days and Google still hasn't fixed it, I'm surprised.
03-11-2025 11:00 AM
Is there a fix for this issue yet?
03-11-2025 11:01 AM
Think that all of us have try the factory reset... Just install the google home update right now, and there are no change. Chromecast audio still say "impossible to connect with your chromecast audio". ¿What are the instructions to set the device? Thanks
03-11-2025 11:01 AM
Too late.. would like to receive the instructions 🙂
03-11-2025 11:02 AM
Come on Google, this is taking too much time! Fix it !!
03-11-2025 11:02 AM
Hello. So I pay for Netflix and Amazon prime. I am not able to use these at the moment and my kids are also going crazy.
so are Google going to refund me for these? When are you going to fix it? Do I need to buy an Amazon fire stick sooner rather than later?
03-11-2025 11:03 AM
If you did factory reset you can correct this... Set your phone date to pre problem.. ie 7march. Reset the Chromecast again. With Google home setup the Chromecast again. Wait for Google to fix.. 👍 problems
03-11-2025 11:03 AM
Allready did it 😔😔…… reset it
03-11-2025 11:04 AM
After follow your FAQ I've reset device to factory state. When we can receive instructoonto restore our Chromecast?
03-11-2025 11:04 AM
Chiedo cortese urgenza, visto che TUTTI noi abbiamo eseguito il reset di fabbrica.
Grazie
