My chromecast still says offline in the home app and nothing can cast to it. When does the fix roll out in Denmark??

You guys are so lame

¿Cuánto más falta?

What means of the devise is connected is just plugging into HDMI of my TV like I usually watch the on-demand programs? or anything specific I need to do?

Me and my children cannot watch The Chosen! 😭😭😭

Please, tell us how to fix the problem for those of us who did know enough about our Chromecast to try to "fix" the problem by ourselves performing a Default Factory Reset and are now stuck in trouble with your product! Thanks in advance

Hi! I have the same problem.

Where should I file a claim? My device is not working. Since no notifications were sent, I believe I reset it to factory settings. What would be the solution? Thank you.

I am preocupied because its seems like programated obsolescense.

Absolutely ridiculous. ABSOLUTELY.👎

Eu restarei as configurações de fábrica do meu😅😅😅

Please help I factory reset, as didn't realise the problem was your end, please let me know what to do and when I can. Thanks

Must my Chromecast be connected to my TV to recieve the fix?

Must the TV be turned on?

None of my devices are showing up as connected in Google Home and seemed disconnected from Wifi.

how am I supposed to receive this fix if I can’t connect them to my Wifi because they are bricked by your certificate???

3 out of 5 are now working again.

- 2 Nest mini: a simple reboot worked for those

- Google TV Streamer: disconnected from wifi for no reason, worked once reconnected

- One Chromecast 2nd gen was factory reset: I was able to set it up by changing the date on my Android tablet back to March 7th (before the certificate became invalid).  So it is connected to Wifi and still shows up in Google Home but I still can't stream from mobile devices.  So changing the date back before the certificate expired seems to help, but will it get the fix anyway?

- The other Chromecast 2nd Gen was not powered at the moment the certificate expired, I just powered it and it is not able to connect to wifi and show a code like R5Y6... I can't see it on my router's device list, and I have no idea when was the last time it was powered on.

So, what should I do with the 2 chromecast 2nd gen that don't seem to update themselves??

I try to submit the form and it is not sent and generates the following log: Refresh the page and try again There was a problem with the form.

All my crome audio devices are working again 🙂 I had to take the power on some for a second and when it reconnected to my network it updater and work perfectly 😃

Qual seu país?

Do you from?

How many days ?

In case of factory reset: set your phone's date to March 8 and you can connect to it again. Not use it, mind you, but it won't throw an error setting up and it should be connected from that point onward. Hopefully this allows it to receive the update.

I did try the factory reset and it did not work. I was able to get it back on line by using a phone and changing the date in the phone. However, it would not link to my account which I assume was because the dates do not match. At least it's back on line and hopefully the rollout will work.

Hello Google Team,

Please give refund on my product 🙂 as due to issue from last week in my Chromecast 2nd Gen; I bought Google TV streamer
