Remote warranty void after one replacement

My remote bottom stop working today, contact support, support suggest replacement, but support told me the remote warranty will void after one replacement, google will only replace the remote one time. I feel that is not fair for customer, none want to have issue with the unit, why can only offer one replacement? And I need to pay for new one if your product has issue again? This warranty policy is not as good as other smaller company.

Keep in mind, you are NOT talking to Google here.  This is an open forum and we are users who are volunteering to help other users.  We do not work for Google and we do not speak for Google.

Unfortunately, that is VERY normal that warranty replacement items come with shorter warranty (or other limitations).  I've had that happen multiple times with other non-Google devices that I've had to replace.

Google doesn't read every post in this forum but they do read and track all the feedback they receive that way. Just so you know, they won't respond directly to feedback so don't ask them any questions.
