Hej there,
for our company we just bought 2 Google Chromecasts for our TVs in the eating area and the lounge. We planned to share usefull information such as the curent events in the google calendar, daily menues from the restaurant / cantine, etc. First we weäre told that this is absolutely possible but now it looks like this is not easy at all.
Our current workaround for this is create different sheets with the wanted information and export them as JPEG so we can stream a slideshot in Google Photos. This works but every time we change a time or date of an calendar event, we need to redo the slide, which is a pain in the ***.
So here I am, looking for other solutions because I am pretty sure that somebody else had this problem and maybe found a nice solution (which can also cost some money).
Feel free to ask questions if you need more information.
Thank you and best regards
Aaron
ps: we are using the Google Suite in our company

Hi aarongoehler,
Thanks for reaching out. You can try to cast a desktop or cast your entire computer screen to your TV. Check the info in this support website article to see how.

Jennifer

Hej Jennifer,
thank you for replying. Unfortunately that wasn't my question. I already read through the article and it did not help because it's just basic Google stuff, nothing special (like in other official articles from Apple, etc.).
I am looking for an "Out of the box thinking" solution. I want to have a slideshow with a calendar (which is not just a screenshot but updates automatically), some notes, maybe weather information, etc.
I know that there are some providers of such a service but I just don't know which one is good or suits this best.
Nevertheless thank you for trying to help. 🙂
Best
Aaron

Hello there,
Thanks for getting back to us and for providing more details of the setup that you want. I'm afraid that option isn't available, but we're always looking for ways to improve and we'll take this as feedback. You can also send feedback about this through the Google Home app. Here's how. Let me know if you have other concerns, otherwise I’ll be locking this thread after 24 hours.
Thanks,
Jennifer
