Shows viewed appear across seperate profiles on the same Chromecast

Hi,

On chromecast, there is a profile setup for myself and one for my wife. Shows I am viewing or shows I might like from my viewing choices are showing on her profile and visa-versa. Is there a way to stop this happening and have the profiles and viewing choices totally seperate?

Thank you for posting here in the community. I'm sorry that it shows the views from your list; it shows on a different profile. I understand how frustrating it is when it is swapped unexpectedly. Help's here.

 

I just want to confirm, which Nest Chromecast do you have?

What is your current location?

 

In the mean time, please do the following:

  1. Make sure the Google Home app is up-to-date. To check how to update the Google Home app, refer to Update the Google Home app.
  2. Check if your mobile device is compatible.
  3. Force close the Google Home app, then reopen it.
  4. Tap the account profile (profile photo or initials).
  5. Verify that the Google Account shown is the one linked to the Google Home App.
