Solid white light on my Chromecast remote.

My Chromecast remote has a solid white light. It never goes into pairing mode. I tried getting help from support but never got the call and chat I was promised.

I have tried all the suggested ways on these forums and even Reddit, it will just not go into pairing mode and pulsate to indicate it.

• What is the specific model of your Chromecast? Here’s a helpful article about how to identify the model of your device.
• Is this the first time that you're pairing the Voice Remote to the Chromecast?
• Did you see any error messages during the pairing process?

In the meantime, I suggest the following steps:

• Make sure you have the latest version of the Google Home app and the mobile software version.
