Some Google assistant commands not working with chromecast

Hello,

I have had a chromecast for a very long time, and have been using Google assistant from my android devices along with my first Google home mini and now Google nest mini. Before I was able to rewind and fast forward videos but I cannot do that anymore. It asks for the device name of which I want to do said command. I name the device and it asks the same question again. Another problem I am having is that in the Google support pages for chromecast, it says I can cast weather, stocks, and sports info to my TV with Google assistant commands from either my android device or my nest mini. But it does not work. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong? All devices have been factory reset to try to remedy these issues. Thank you.
