For some reason, the Google TV Streamer has judder issues on 120hz TVs despite the device doesn't support that framerate, judder is noticeable regardless of the app.
I already tried resetting the box to factory settings and it appears the latest firmware update introduced the issue.
Using motion interpolation and/or quick media switching doesn't help, judder is noticeable and annoying.
I don't see this issue on other devices I have under Android 14, which is the same Android version available on the box.

Hi branches78,
Thanks for posting. I'm sorry to hear about the situation that you are experiencing with your Google TV Streamer having judder issues on 120 Hz TVs. I understand how frustrating this can be, but I appreciate the information provided and the steps that you already tried to troubleshoot the device, including the factory reset. But don't worry; help is here. I just need to confirm some information to provide the best solution:
What is the make and full model number of the 120 Hz TV you are connecting the Google TV Streamer to?
Have you tried using a different HDMI port on your TV or a different HDMI cable? Sometimes, a high-speed HDMI cable rated for newer standards can make the difference.
On your 120 Hz TV, are there any specific picture modes (e.g., "Game mode," "Cinema mode," or "Standard") that you've tried, and does changing them affect the judder?
On your Google TV device, under the display settings, have you checked or tried adjusting the "Resolution or "Dynamic Range (HDR)" settings to see if that impacts the judder?
Does the judder occur immediately upon navigating the Google TV interface, or only when playing specific video content?
Please keep me posted.
Best regards,
Jenny

Hello Jenny,
Here's my responses to your questions:
What is the make and full model number of the 120 Hz TV you are connecting the Google TV Streamer to?
The TV is LG 55QNED85A 2025 model.
Have you tried using a different HDMI port on your TV or a different HDMI cable? Sometimes, a high-speed HDMI cable rated for newer standards can make the difference.
Yes, I am using an ultra high speed cable aka 8K cable with 48Gbps.
On your 120 Hz TV, are there any specific picture modes (e.g., "Game mode," "Cinema mode," or "Standard") that you've tried, and does changing them affect the judder?
I've tried using different modes and they are all the same.
On your Google TV device, under the display settings, have you checked or tried adjusting the "Resolution or "Dynamic Range (HDR)" settings to see if that impacts the judder?
The dynamic range is set to automatic or adaptive which is the recommended mode.
Does the judder occur immediately upon navigating the Google TV interface, or only when playing specific video content?
It's noticeable on video playback only, I don't think the UI is affected.
