Hi all.
I watch a lot of live sport, usually streaming on my bedroom Samsung tv with a 3rd Generation Chromecast with no issue.
However, I recently upgraded my lounge tv to a Veon 55” 4K with built-in google TV and Chromecast. Streaming movies and tv shows is absolutely fine, however when I attempt to stream live sport through the sky sport app, the viewing experience is terrible. Despite being closer to the modem than my bedroom tv and Chromecast, the Google tv skips and buffers every 30 seconds or so, reducing picture quality and de-syncing the audio considerably.
i have attempted wiring an Ethernet cable into the Veon Google TV and it makes no difference whatsoever, so it leads me to believe that it is not a network issue.
any tips or hints to sort this out would be wonderful, thank you.

Hi @Jackson1998!
Thank you for posting in the community. I'm sorry to hear that your Veon 55" 4K TV with built-in Google TV and Chromecast is experiencing skipping, buffering, and audio de-sync when streaming live sports. I appreciate your efforts in taking those steps before. I'm happy to help you!
Since your Veon TV has Google TV and Chromecast built-in (rather than a separate, physical Chromecast device), the best course of action is to reach out to the Google TV support team directly through the Google TV Help Community. They're the experts on the integrated software of your Veon TV and can provide specific guidance and solutions for issues like this.
If you have any questions or need additional help, please don't hesitate to let us know.
Best regards,
Geremi
