Hello,
This is an situation I have been dealing with for a week, but I have been unable to get it resolved via contacting the "google advisors," so I figured I would post about it here.
During the setup process of my new google tv, I am unable to setup my remote to control my TV for power and volume. I get to the screen where it asks me to select TV, Soundbar, or an A/V receiver, and after selecting TV, I get the "Something went wrong" error. After trying every possible software fix in the book, the advisors told me to submit a warranty claim to get the device replaced, as it's likely faulty hardware.
The issue I am running into now, is that the warranty claim form does not work. I put in all of my info and the devices serial number, but It ironically keeps telling me that "something went wrong, please refresh and try again." I have done this multiple times, over different days, and the form is still broken, preventing me from submitting a warranty claim.
Hopefully somebody here can solve this?
Thanks,
-Liam

Hi Tekkiam,
Thanks for posting here in the Google Nest Community. This is a known bug that should have been fixed with the patch update released before November. Since you already contacted the support team, I suggest you continue from there. Reply to their email if they can send you another link for that since it doesn’t seem to work or may have already expired. Let us know if you have other questions or concerns.
Thanks,
Kimy
