Virtual remote

  • Hi! Greetings for everyone! Excuse me y’all because I don’t speak english, if you could bring me some link from multilanguage realize it please. The next most annoying bug is about Google Home App. I did everything the possible to reset factory settings in every App, e.g. Google TV, Android Remote Control and the Chromecast with Google TV. I uninstalled doggone apps, cleared cache and data, and reinstalled all apps. The message shows “Full remote control unavailable. Make sure your streaming device has the latest software.” that means that cannot be use the virtual remote control such as adjusting volume, play or pause streaming neither add device in a row. I have the latest version of Google Home, None of the devices such as TV or dongle cannot be use the virtual remote control.

  • As you mention that you have a Chromecast with Google TV, are you trying to set up the control remote that comes with it or are you using a third party company? 
  • The error message that you’re getting is from the Google Home app. Google TV or from the Chromecast device?
