It looks like this issue started after the latest Google TV update — several users have mentioned that the new homepage layout temporarily breaks the ability to modify or sync the Watchlist. The good news is that reverting to the previous layout or clearing cache/data in the Google TV app (Settings → Apps → Google TV → Storage → Clear Cache & Data) restores the function for most people.

Good day. Please see responses below. Of additional note, issue persists after August Security update installed 10/14/2025 and impacts watchlist of additional profiles when added for testing. The onine google save collection has my main watchlist (Search Watchlist) and a much smaller Google TV Watchlist, and the TV app list is a combination of these two.

Seeing similar issues still even after the latest update today. The watchlist on the Google TV streamer does not refresh with the new layout. The only work around I have found is to go to my profile and enable app only mode, then turn it back off. This will get the watchlist to refresh to current a single time but then the issue remains where it will never refresh again without doing the app only mode work around.

Hi,
I tried clearing all caches, other profiles, and making sure it is up to date. The watchlist works fine on mobile as it always has. It continues to not refresh on the streamer unless you turn on app only mode then turn it back off. Otherwise it stays the same regardless of what you do.
