i like to cast the computer's system audio to the speakers (because I am using a DJ mixer), but when I set chrome's cast sources to 'cast desktop' it says 'source not available'.
Any way i can cast the computer audio?

Hi Anselm,
Thanks for posting here in the Google Nest Community. A few questions: what Chromecast device are you using? Have you tried casting from another laptop or a phone? What steps have you taken? I look forward to your response.
Thanks,
Kimy

it's the same from my laptop, and i cannot hook up a DJ mixer to a phone, system audio doesn't play on nest speakers unless, is there a plug-in that converts system sound into something i can cast. i just want to use the nest speaker as computer speakers

Hey Anselm,
Apologies for the delay and we hear you. One way to connect using your Nest Audio is via Bluetooth. This may or may not work depending on its compatibility. Could you check your computer’s Bluetooth version if it has a Bluetooth 5.0 or up? That’s the minimum requirement for it to be compatible with your Nest Audio.
For more information, check out this the link: Google Nest and Home device specifications.
Keep us posted.
Regards,
Dan
