connecting to new wifi

i got a new wifi today and when i go to wnter the password it tells me to usw the google home app but i cant since it wont xonnwvt to the tv necause my tv isnt connwcred to the wifi i really need help cause i cant use mt tv

I‘ve got the same problem… did reset the chromecast, it still can’t be found in the google home app.

i wonder why urs is like that because i restarted mine in the chromecast setting under devices and then it let me do it

I did resolve my issue yesterday after multiple tries. What helped was to connect my phone with the chromecast network, that chromecast is sending.
