Google home premium

I upgraded to AI Plus and my Google home app hasn't upgraded to Google home premium yet. It's been 12 hours. Is that long enough to wait or should it be working by now?

Thanks for reaching out to the Google Nest Community. I understand that you upgraded your subscription to AI Premium, but the Google Home app hasn't been updated to Google Home Premium yet. I know how concerning this is, especially since it’s been 3 days and you're waiting for it to become active. I appreciate you sharing these details. No worries, I’d be more than glad to assist you. To help with that, I have a few questions for you:

  • Which AI plan did you upgrade to? Was it the Google One AI Premium plan that includes the Google Home Premium benefit?
  • Are you signed into the Google Home app with the same Google Account you used to purchase your plan?
  • Have you tried restarting the Google Home app?

If you upgraded through a Google One plan, it may take some time for the systems to sync across your account and reflect the new Google Home Premium status.

Any additional details you can provide will be helpful.
