Since I installed a new sky max router, very few Google devices work, 

The following fail to install after hard reset (holding down reset button for prescribed time)

2 Google nest cameras (3rd edn)

2 Google nest protect smoke alarms

The following were able to reinstall

Nest doorbell battery

1 Google nest protect

Nest thermostat (3rd edn)

I have tried with 5ghz disabled and tried to install with my phone WiFi hotspot

After 1 week trying everything, I am on the point of ditching everything google. In anticipation, I have already successfully installed a reolink inside camera.  So unless google comes up with a fix, it's all going in the bin soon

To understand better the issue, I’d like to ask a few questions:

• Do you know what specific model of Nest Protects you have? Please refer to this article: How to tell which Nest Protect you have.
• Just to confirm, did you perform the factory reset of the Nest Protects and Nest Cameras following these articles? Reset Nest Protect and erase all settings and Restart or factory reset. Nest camera or doorbell.
• Have you verified your IPv6 configuration? Ensuring a perfect connectivity score is vital for optimal device performance.
• What is the color of the LED light in the devices?

Please consider that Google devices work better with a 2.4 GHz band than 5 GHz.
