Interesting as the unit for sale on Amazon specifically says not for C wire. Did notice in the comments that if you every use fan only this no longer works, that in fact it turns on the AC compressor.

The Venstar ACC0410 Add-A-Wire says not to be used to add a C wire. So doesn't seem like a good solution.

Thanks for the info. Was just looking at getting the Google device to add the 5th wire. Will look at these two and compare prices.
