Google Nest Community

I ended up solving the problem by downloading the nest app and not using Google home.

My bad. Any advice would be appreciated. I still can't link my Nest Thermostats to my Google Home app.

Sorry, the device is a Google Nest Learning Thermostat (wifi enabled). The naming was confusing me.

I think it's Nest Wifi (it connects via Wifi) and the wifi is setup (I bought a home and the device was pre-installed).The device is factory reset.I am using the latest Google Home app on iOS (up-to-date).I have not tried it from a different device.
