So bought this about a year ago, I believe, and all of a sudden, I no
longer can get to the Google Home screen, nor am I able to see anything,
except for a white light glowing on the actual device itself.
So as of this morning, my Nest hub is no longer showing any pictures,
but is simply showing the time. Does anyone know what I should do to get
the pictures, weather and news back on the home screen? Thanks,

I have this exact same issue with a Google Nest wireless camera...
Several of us have the Google Home app installed on our phones, I don't
understand how that would fix the issue... (I even have the
subscription)
