Hey Jake. Thanks for the follow up. As it stands we're being told
there's nothing that can be done. We're all just hanging for a future
feature that will let us customise the models so we can turn off the
awful news on a morning.
We managed to resolve this on ours. In the home app go to Account >
Assistant settings > News > and remove all news sources. However, I
think all connected accounts need to do this. I had tried this and it
