When is the Wired version going to be released in the UK? My 1st generation Nest doorbell is on its last legs - the faceplate is all cracked for no apparent reason.Is it time to abandon the Nest platform?

I reached out to @madebygoogle on Twitter, they might be able to replace my 1st gen but nothing certain as yet.

It's getting to the point where I don't think my 1st gen is gonna last. It's out of warrantee and given the state of the front, think that decision is gonna be made for me.Shame, really love the nest stuff but it really shouldn't be this tragic

I get the sneaky feeling they're ignoring this one. Not enough customer impact (only the one country)Really poor customer service not to even address this. In fact any communication would be better than radio silence 
