As it happens,I too had to get a heating engineer out and he said the
heat link was gone so I ended up having to pay £200 for a Hive system
which he said that he had fitted loads of them and never had any bad
reports.The Nest was great while it worke...
I too have a 3rd gen heat link that has suddenly given up.Mine is also 2
years old.I just wish I had done some research first as it seems it’s a
common occurrence and very little if no help when it does go wrong.Now
we are sitting here with no heatin...
