Chromecast device will not save the new name it has been given. It looks
like it has on home settings but shows the name I don't want when I look
for it to cast to. When I go back to change it again I settings it
defaults to the name I don't want
Hello that didn't work but resetting the chromecast device and putting
it into a custom named room worked. I removed the chromecast out of the
existing homes. Factory reset the device. It would only let me add to a
room already on the list and named ...
Hi it's a Nokia 6.1 phone with Android version 10. No luck with clearing
cache and uninstall/reinstalling the home app. We have tried on
different phones that have been restarted.
