Quick update, I tried the factory reset on the chromecast again and I was able to rename it without any issues not sure why this didn't work first time.

Yep I have the exact same issue. Google seriously get your act together this should not be a hard bug to fix!

Yes but if you ask Google to play a BBC station I don't think it goes through TuneIn.

Can as many affected people as possible do this so Google are made aware of the scale of the issue. Contacting TuneIn via https://help.tunein.com/contact may also be a good idea.
