I cannot find the MAC ID of my device. All instructions I find on the web are incorrect or only give IP address, not MAC ID. It is not given on the device itself and the app only shows the IP address. How do I get the MAC ID?

Thanks. I checked her phone and it was set to "Rotating". I looked at my own phone and it was set to "Fixed." I changed hers to "Fixed" also. If that doesn't work I'll try "Off" as you suggest. Any reason to be 'Off" rather than "Fixed"?

I’ve been able to discover it by pinging it and using the arp command from the Windows command line.
