Humidifier always run. Have to manually turn off and on as needed.

My HVAC guy says the humidifier is set to come on as needed. Only way I can get the humidifier to run is to manually control its on/off. It never shuts off if I turn it off and never turns on when needed. Doesn't matter if the heat is on or not.Furna...

Just got a new Furnace and AC installed today. Got a Gen 3 Learning Thermostat and am wondering if I should to like a factory reset and let it start learning all over? Or just let it be?
