Google Nest Community

I just connected a new Google Chromecast. It went through all the setup choices with no trouble. In the Google home app, I can remote control another Chromecast on my home, but this new one will not respond to any remote app.

The system stays on way too long. It's currently set to 77, it's showing 77, but it's still blowing cold air, long after the time it took me to figure out how to upload a picture. It's still blowing. The furthest register in the house is blowing at 6...
