I have had that same issue with both of mine I just read they are
discontinuing support for older models and you won’t be able to use
remotely for that alone I am not buying another of their products and
hopefully my next t stat will do what i ask
throwing my two classic nests in the trash and getting a different
brand, all manual mode and still wake up atnight sweating because this
junk changed temps
