My existing thermostat has wires connected to R, C, E1 and E2. The app
says I need a Y or W, but I have neither a Y or W label on the current
thermostat. R has a red wire, C is blue, E1 is green, E2 is yellow.
No, I didn’t. Had to put the old one back on until I have an opportunity
to revisit the issue. This is 1 of 2 different thermostats I bought
Nests to replace.
