Google home app not pausing devices

Hello,Lately when I have pushed the pause function for any of the devices on the app, nothing happens. Anyone have any advice on how to restore this function?

Incidentally, I have already tried a complete factory reset of all the routers. The paws function return for a time, but then stopped working.
